I typically don’t give 5 star ratings, but this is a restaurant that deserves it. We stopped here while out snowmobiling and we haven’t had that great of service in a long time. I guess leaving our town of Syracuse and going to a small town diner is where it’s at! The ladies here were so nice and accommodated my son with a snowman pancake and the hot chocolate and coffees were really great! Paying was easy also, you scan the code and you can do it online!

Well worth the drive! My family and I absolutely love this place. We are there almost every Sunday to enjoy a fantastic breakfast. Sometimes were are a table of 9 and sometimes we are a table of 2, it doesn't matter how many we are we are always greeted with warm smiles, fast and friendly service. The food is amazing!! The service is what keeps us coming back week after week. They could be swamped or quiet and everyone gets the same friendly smiles and service.

Every time I have ever gone, we always felt like family. The atmosphere immediately felt as if we were at a family gathering. The service was always super fast and cheerful. They all know how to get you to laugh. The food was on a whole other level! With multiple options of sweet treats to have before the food as well as a simple but super customizable meal! I love the Pioneer Cafe and would recommend it every time!

Little late on review, but went for Mothers Day. Was very busy! But the food and staff were lovely! Everything was delicious and the stuffed French toast was perfect!

First stop on our drive around the mountains last weekend. Stopped here last August and loved it’s so much we brought friends back as well. Everything was on point during this visit including food and a great staff!! Everything is homemade and amazing! Try their French toast and English muffins! Oh my goodness! so delicious. They do have winter hours, so check their Facebook page!

Pioneer Cafe is the cutest warmest gem of a cafe in upstate NY. Worth a long drive to enjoy the cozy atmosphere, hot coffee, and some of the BEST diner breakfast you will have in your life. The French toast was the stand out but every bite was perfect! Loved it!
